Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 18 August 2026
ITIN INTERNATIONAL TAX SERVICES wants every client to be able to use this website, whatever technology they browse with. Many of the people we serve are navigating an unfamiliar language and an unfamiliar tax system already — the website should not add to that.
Standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the benchmark referenced by most United States accessibility requirements, and we treat it as the target rather than the ceiling.
What we have done
Measures currently in place on this site include:
- a “skip to main content” link so keyboard users can bypass the header;
- semantic landmarks and a logical heading order so screen readers can navigate by structure;
- visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields;
- labels tied to every form field, rather than placeholder text alone;
- descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt text on decorative ones;
- a frequently asked questions section built from native disclosure controls, so it works with the keyboard and without JavaScript;
- text and interface colours chosen for contrast against their backgrounds; and
- a responsive layout that reflows down to small screens and remains usable when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
We want to be straightforward about the gaps:
- The embedded Google map in the contact section is third-party content whose accessibility we do not control. Every piece of information it conveys — the full street address, a directions link and our telephone number — is also available as plain text and links immediately beside it.
- Some photography on the site is decorative and is deliberately not described, to avoid adding noise for screen reader users.
- Review content displayed from our Google Business Profile is written by third parties and its wording is outside our control.
Alternatives to using this site
If any part of this website prevents you from reaching us, please use whichever of these is easiest:
- Telephone (941) 422-5188 — you can complete an entire enquiry by phone.
- Email hello@itin.tax.
- Visit our office at 719 S. Oak Avenue, Sanford, Florida, by appointment.
No service on this site is available only through the website. Anything you can start online you can also start by telephone.
Tell us about a barrier
If you encounter something on this site that you cannot use, we want to hear about it — it is the fastest way for us to fix it. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, and send it to hello@itin.tax or call the office. We aim to respond within one business day and to remedy genuine barriers as a priority.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-off project. We review this site as it changes and update this statement as we make improvements or become aware of new limitations.
