Secure card payment

Pay your fee online

Fees start at $99. You only ever pay the amount we have confirmed with you in writing — there is no charge for submitting an application, and nothing is taken until you have agreed the figure.

Make a payment

Have your reference number to hand if you applied online. If we quoted you by telephone, leave the reference box empty and enter the amount we agreed.

From the confirmation email we sent when you applied. Quoting it attaches your payment to your file automatically.

Where your confirmation goes. Use the same address you applied with.

Optional. It fills in the amount for you so there is nothing to work out.

$

Enter the fee we confirmed with you, in US dollars. The smallest fee we invoice is $99.

It appears on your receipt, so you can tell later what the charge was for.

Helpful when somebody else is paying on your behalf.

You will finish on Stripe's secure page and come straight back here. We never see, handle or store your card number.

How your card details are handled

  • Your card number is typed on Stripe's own page, not ours. It never touches this website's servers, and we could not show it to you if you asked.
  • Stripe emails you a card receipt, and we email our own confirmation tying the payment to your ITIN file.
  • What we keep is the amount, the date and your reference — enough to answer a question about your account, and nothing more.

Questions about paying

When do I pay?
After we have reviewed your application and confirmed a fixed fee with you in writing, and before we file with the IRS. Submitting the online application costs nothing, and there is no obligation at all until you accept the fee.
Why is there no fixed price on this page?
Because ITIN work is not one job. A renewal for one person and a first application for a family of four attached to two years of returns are different amounts of work, and pretending otherwise means either overcharging the simple case or underquoting the complicated one. A renewal starts at $99, which is a figure we are happy to publish. The rest we quote individually — that is what “TBD” means above — and your fee is always the number we put in writing before any work begins.
Which cards can I use?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device offers them. Non-US cards are accepted, which matters for a practice whose clients are mostly abroad — your bank may add its own currency conversion charge.
Does paying guarantee the IRS will issue my ITIN?
No, and no honest firm can promise it. Your fee pays for preparation, Certifying Acceptance Agent certification and filing — work we do properly and stand behind. Whether an ITIN is issued, and when, is the IRS's decision alone. If they reject an application we will tell you why and what to do about it.
I paid the wrong amount. What now?
Call (941) 422-5188 or email hello@itin.tax. An overpayment is refunded to the same card; a shortfall we will simply tell you about. Nobody is chased for a rounding error.
